TapCard Terms and Conditions

Client profiles

A template-based client profile will be provided with the purchase of every TapCard Custom, including free hosting for a period of 36 months from date of purchase. Online profiles are managed by TapCard support and may contain the following info:

Company logo
Profile image
Name and surname
Job title
Short bio (150 characters)
Mobile phone
Landline
Whatsapp button
Email address
Website link
Social Media links
Online portfolio link (hosted on client’s website)

While our template-based profiles are sufficient in the majority of cases, we understand that your business may need further customization. We offer advanced customization of landing pages for orders of 20 cards and above, please Contact Us for further assistance.

Revisions/updates to profiles

Upon ordering your TapCard Custom, you will receive a link to an order form where all your info may be provided. We will create your landing page which is linked to your personal profile and have 10 business days to alert us of any revisions you may need. After the initial 10 day revision, you may request changes to your profile at a minimal fee of R75 with a turnaround time of 3 working days.

Renewal of profiles

After 36 months of purchase, an annual hosting fee of R150 per card will be charged to cover ongoing server and maintenance costs. Every annual renewal will also include a free profile revision, giving you the opportunity to change your profile image, company logo and contact details if they have changed.

Customization of physical cards

All TapCard Custom cards include full colour double-sided prints. This may include company logos, profile image or any image supplied by our client. Before printing, we will send you a digital draft of the card and ask for approval – once draft has been approved, the card will be printed and delivered to your door within 5-7working days.

Please note that we offer basic layout and design of card graphics, logos, etc., an additional fee may be applicable for complex graphic design work.

Tapcard Lite

Our TapCard Lite is a cost-effective, hardware only solution which allows web and tech enthusiasts to program their own cards using their smart device. The TapCard Lite may be programmed to the user’s website, online portfolio or a social media page and instructions for doing so will be provided with purchase of the card.

The TapCard Lite does not include any TapCard hosted profile pages or customized printing.

PROCESSING AND RETAINING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your privacy matters to us at www.tapcard.co.za. By providing the information in this form, you are consenting to Tapcard (Pty) Ltd registering you as a client. We adhere to a strict data privacy policy in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act No.4 of 2013 (POPIA).
In some cases, we may need to verify the information provided for referencing purposes. This may involve sharing your information with financial consultants to settle invoices and with SARS for VAT claims.
DISCLAIMER:
Tapcard commits to using your information solely for the purpose it was collected. Once that purpose is fulfilled, your information will be securely destroyed unless there is a statutory obligation requiring us to retain it for a longer period.
